About Us

Fraser-Lever is a multidiscipline engineering company working primarily in the resources sector.

The extent of services provided depends on Client requirements and can include: design and specification only; design, specification and supervision; through to full Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM). Projects include: scoping studies, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, new projects, plant modifications and upgrades and plant relocation, special purpose machinery design, infrastructure and environmental designs.

Fraser-Lever is focused on providing a comprehensive, high quality service and can cater for all stages of projects from project conception through to operations handover.

Fraser-Lever Pty Ltd was established as a result of merging two extensively experienced engineering businesses; Fraser-Osborn Pty Ltd and Lever (Aust) Pty Ltd. Fraser Osborn was established in 1985 and has serviced mining, government etc clients for over 30 years and Lever (Aust) Pty Ltd was established in 2009 and has serviced primarily the mining industry.

We are certified as an ISO9001 Quality Assured Business. To further our commitment to sustainability in our work place and in the services and equipment we provide to our clients our Environmental Management System is certified to ISO14001 and our Occupational Health and Safety system is certified to ISO45001.

MBA, RPEQ and Chartered Electrical and Controls Engineer with over 20 years experience in mining processing plants and heavy industry. Phil has led multiple projects in Australia, Africa and South America through the full lifecycle from concept and estimation through to detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations support.

Ben Allwood
Director & Principal
CTO / CIO

GAICD, MPM and qualified in Infomechatronic Engineering, Ben brings global experience in multidiscipline Engineering and IT projects spanning mining, manufacturing, water, and energy industries. Ben specialises in architecting and delivering data-analytics, cybersecurity, AI and IoT solutions to improve operational effectiveness while aligning to corporate and governance and risk postures.

Jacob Stecher

RPEQ and Chartered in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management and Leadership and Management with over 25 years’ experience in the mining, rail, industrial equipment and automotive industries. Jacob has worked on projects in the private and public sector, from small equipment design to full turn key materials handling plant.

With 25 + years’ leadership in engineering and product-distribution businesses, Steven is a seasoned executive whose finance and sales expertise spans both private enterprises and ASX-listed companies. He now brings that commercial acumen to the Fraser Lever Board, providing strategic oversight and rigorous governance.

As Co-founder of Fraser-Lever, Craig Anderson is a highly respected Principal Consultant, known for his expertise in mine infrastructure engineering and Owner’s team consulting services. With a career spanning decades in the resources sector, Craig continues to bring a wealth of practical experience and strategic insight to our key clients.

As Co-founder of Fraser-Lever, Cliff Fraser continues to play a role in the business as a Principal Consultant, bringing decades of engineering insight and leadership to the most technically demanding projects. Known for his expertise in Earthworks and Structural Engineering, Cliff is called upon to provide strategic guidance on challenging technical issues.
