Governance and assurance
Fraser-Lever’s governance framework provides the oversight, accountability and professional standards required to deliver safe, reliable and high-quality engineering outcomes.
Our approach combines experienced leadership, professional engineering accountability, independent review and established management systems to support consistent project delivery and responsible decision-making.
Professional engineering accountability
Our engineering is undertaken within a framework of professional responsibility, technical oversight and appropriate review. Our team includes professionally registered and chartered engineers across multiple disciplines, including:
- Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland (RPEQ)
- Registered Professional Engineers Victoria (RPEV)
- Chartered Professional Engineers (CPEng)
- Engineers registered with the Institution of Engineers Papua New Guinea (IEPNG)
Senior engineers remain actively involved in project delivery, providing technical leadership and accountability throughout the engineering process.
Quality, safety & risk management
Quality, safety and risk management are integrated into how we plan, design and deliver our work. Fraser-Lever operates an integrated management system supporting consistent project delivery, risk management and continuous improvement across the business. Our systems are certified to:
- ISO 9001 — Quality management
- ISO 14001 — Environmental management
- ISO 45001 — Occupational health & safety management
This framework supports disciplined engineering processes while allowing our teams to remain practical and responsive to individual project requirements.
Independent review & assurance
Independent review and verification provide an additional level of confidence where engineering decisions, regulatory requirements or project risk warrant greater scrutiny. Our multidisciplinary capability allows appropriate separation between design and review, supporting:
- Independent design verification
- Engineering certification
- Technical assurance and peer review
- Asset integrity assessments
- Compliance and regulatory requirements
- Critical engineering decisions
This provides clients with clear, documented engineering assurance while maintaining accountability for the outcome.
Governance that stays close to the work
Fraser-Lever maintains a relatively direct governance structure, with senior leadership remaining actively involved in the business and in project delivery. Clear ownership, defined responsibilities and structured project governance support timely decisions and effective management of technical, commercial and project risk. For clients, that means clear accountability, fewer management layers and experienced people who remain close to the work from planning through to delivery.
